Natalie Mina
Natalie Mina is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in communication, marketing, and business across several industries including energy management, telecommunications, professional services, and financial services. As the current Head of Communication, Pacific at Schneider Electric, she leads PR, thought leadership, social media, corporate research, and crisis and employee communication to enhance and protect its brand and and reputation. Previously, at BAI Communications, Natalie redefined the global communication function and led communication for its new CEO's corporate strategy overhaul. Her role at Datacom involved designing and implementing a comprehensive change communication strategy aligned with a new CEO and strategy and subsequent organisational change. Her long tenure at Accenture included leadership in communication and corporate strategy, contributing to significant company growth and initiating key programs such as client innovation and women in leadership. Natalie's early career transitioned from corporate banking to public affairs and marketing with the ANZ Banking Group. Beyond her professional endeavours, Natalie has dedicated over two decades to volunteering, serving as an ambassador and board member for various charities.
Anthony Lowe
Anthony is a Non-Executive Director, business leader, and actuary known for his expertise in developing and executing transformation strategies that align with organisational missions, drive income growth, and enhance operational outcomes and sustainability. He recently served as the Chair of Ensemble Offspring and is the Chair of the Actuaries Institute’s Public Policy Council Committee. Previously, Anthony held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Freedom Solutions Australia. Before his tenure at Freedom Solutions, Anthony was the Chief Executive Officer at the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. In this role, he co-led the National Health and Medical Research Council Centre of Research Excellence in Prostate Cancer Survivorship and served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Griffith University. His earlier career includes a significant period as Chief Operating Officer at the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Anthony has also held prominent executive roles in the financial services industry across Australia, the US, and the UK. His extensive experience culminated in his role as Executive Director and Asia-Pacific business group leader at Mercer Wealth Solutions.
Nick Galvin
Journalist Nick Galvin has worked in the industry for 30 years in a variety of roles. For more than 20 years he has worked for the Sydney Morning Herald where he is currently the masthead's Arts Editor. He writes across all areas of the arts with a particular interest in opera, classical music and jazz. Away from his day job he is a keen amateur musician and passionate about promoting community music programs and music education.
Kimbali Harding
Picking up the violin just shy of 3 years old and her first solo performance at the age of 4 with the first movement of a Vivaldi concerto, Kimbali’s career has encompassed performance (as both violinist and pianist), conductor, music educator and musicologist. She was Director of Education at Musica Viva, implementing the organisation’s digital education program and recently has been working with Māori and Pasifika communities in rural New Zealand. In 2023 Kimbali stepped to the helm to lead the Australian Youth Orchestra where she is bringing together her love of musical excellence, care for young people and drive to innovate music education, to reimagine what it means to be an artist in Australia’s future.
Hamish Lane
Hamish is an enthusiastic supporter of The Song Company, with extensive involvement in the arts as both a performer with the Sydney Philharmonia Choirs and a collaborator through Musica Viva In Schools. He is joining The Song Company's board bringing a wealth of experience from his current role as a Product Manager at ABC. In this position, Hamish oversees digital strategy and product development for ABC’s streaming platforms and social media systems, focusing on enhancing audience experience through innovative digital solutions. In addition to his passion for the arts and technology, Hamish serves on the board of Piano+, which presents The Sydney International Piano Competition. Over the past five years, he has guided the organisation's social media and digital marketing strategies, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, helping to explore new digital content formats. Hamish aims to leverage his expertise in digital strategy and content to foster growth and success in digital marketing and social media content strategy for The Song Company.
Jacqui Smith
Jacqui Smith is a creative and dynamic arts management professional with a wealth of experience in the performing arts and higher education spheres. She joined the Australian Haydn Ensemble as CEO in July 2023. Her previous roles include leadership positions at both the University of Sydney and University of Technology, Sydney in creative faculties and portfolios. Jacqui holds qualifications in music, law, and in editing and publishing. She has a deep connection to classical music performance, having managed numerous international and Australian marketing and engagement programs at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and, most recently, been CEO at the Hume Conservatorium in Goulburn NSW. While at the Hume Conservatorium, she had carriage of a large regional music education program, developed funding streams, implemented technology upgrades, procured new instruments and was responsible for the inaugural 2022 Hume Chamber Music Festival.
Min Zhu
Min is a seasoned financial services leader with broad expertise in quantitative analysis, project management and strategic planning. With significant experience leading teams at leading organisations including Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Insurance Australia Group, Min believes strongly in the value of investing in human capital and bringing out the best in people. Over a decade in the industry, Min has actively participated in numerous committees, providing thought leadership in areas of expertise including data and analytics, responsible AI and consumer behaviour. She has experience in securing funding and executing large-scale projects in a corporate setting, as well as driving projects that contribute to corporate social responsibility. Alongside her professional achievements, Min has a deep passion for the arts. She is an active singer with Sydney Philharmonia Choirs and a committed patron of the opera, ballet, and symphony, reflecting her broad cultural interests and support for the arts community.
